Focus patent translation
Innovative capacity is of great importance in global competition. The protection of innovations through patents, among other things, is crucial as an incentive for further development of new products. We support our clients during their innovation process with patent translations (EP Validation, PCT). At Veolin Translations, patent translations are always carried out by specialist translators who have knowledge of the relevant (technical/scientific) industry from which the patent application to be translated originates. Patent translations do not leave room for interpretation and are always translated literally. As patent claims define the scope of protection of the patent, they are always checked by two translators. We provide translations of documents during the patent application phase, but also translate all documents within the scope of patent infringement proceedings (patent infringement actions, nullity actions, documents in opposition proceedings and office actions). Our processes offer the highest quality and maximum security. Veolin Translations is certified for translation services according to ISO 17100 and every translation is subject to a strict internal quality assurance process. Automotive industry

Due to the many international markets and diversified production chains, companies in this industry are integrated into a global system of production and sales locations. This leads to a high number of documents in technical documentation as well as in marketing, which have to be translated regularly. At the heart of an automotive manufacturer's success is the protection of innovation, which is part of the foundation of an active and competitive automotive industry. With our translation services we support our clients in the field of IP (patent, utility models, design and trademark applications ) as well as in the field of technical documentation.
Medical and Pharmaceutical
Veolin Translations supports pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device companies with specialised translations. Translations in the fields of pharmaceuticals, chemistry and medicine place high demands on the translator in terms of both form and content. They therefore require work by experienced specialists who produce these translations using standard terminology in accordance with the specifications of the regulatory authorities EMA, FDA and Swiss-Medic.
